Job Description Job Description Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse – MS/Tele Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit: MS/Tele Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Days – 3x12 Hours (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) License Requirement: Active New York RN License (NY is not compact) Scheduling & Contract Details 13-week assignment EPIC charting experience required RTO and special scheduling requests must be submitted at time of submission Facility may cancel up to three shifts during the 13-week contract Unit Overview Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit caring for adult acute care patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring and medical management. Specific unit assignment provided at time of offer. Patient Ratios: 1:5 to 1:7 Required Clinical Skills Cardiac Monitoring & Emergency Response Dysrhythmia interpretation and management Rapid Response and Code Team activation IV Therapy / Phlebotomy Peripheral IV line care and management Respiratory Care Nasal cannula Oxygen administration (face masks/tanks) Non-invasive airway management Professional Practice Isolation precautions Infection control standards Required Qualifications Active New York State RN License (no pending licenses accepted) BLS Certification Must have worked in acute care within the past 6 months Ability to float within skillset as needed Facility Overview 528-bed acute care teaching hospital Magnet-recognized Advanced Thrombectomy Capable Stroke Center Offers comprehensive cardiac, oncology, neuroscience, pediatric emergency, women’s health, and advanced surgical services Scrub Color: Any combination of navy blue and white For more details reach at sthakur@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 732 791 4807 - EXT 4807 .
