per week Shift Time: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM Block Scheduling: Not
Available Weekends: Not required Position Summary A healthcare
organization in Rochester, NY is seeking an experienced Radiation
Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment within a Radiation
Oncology department. This role supports cancer services and
requires strong technical expertise, independence, and adaptability
in a fast-paced clinical environment. Responsibilities Deliver
radiation therapy treatments in accordance with physician
prescriptions and established protocols Operate radiation therapy
equipment safely and accurately Position patients for treatment and
ensure proper alignment and immobilization Monitor patients
throughout treatment and report any concerns to the care team
Perform daily quality assurance checks on radiation therapy
equipment Document treatments and patient information accurately in
the medical record Float to additional radiation oncology locations
as needed Maintain compliance with radiation safety standards,
infection control policies, and regulatory requirements Collaborate
with radiation oncologists, physicists, dosimetrists, and
interdisciplinary teams Required Qualifications Active New York
State Radiologic Technologist – Therapy License Minimum 2 years of
radiation therapy experience preferred Experience with Ethos and/or
Varian treatment machines preferred Ability to work independently
in a fast-paced environment Strong communication, teamwork, and
