Job Description Job Description Job Title: Registered Nurse – MS/Tele (Medical-Surgical / Telemetry) Location: Rochester, NY Profession Registered Nurse Specialty Medical-Surgical / Telemetry (MS/Tele) Job Summary The MS/Tele Registered Nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to adult patients requiring medical-surgical and telemetry monitoring. This role involves assessing patient conditions, administering treatments, monitoring cardiac rhythms, and collaborating with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in an acute care setting. Shift & Schedule 12-hour shifts Day and Night shifts available Rotating schedule may include both day and night coverage Weekend requirement: Every other weekend Key Responsibilities Deliver safe, effective nursing care to MS/Tele patients in accordance with clinical standards. Perform patient assessments, develop care plans, and evaluate outcomes. Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record. Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and support staff to coordinate care. Educate patients and families regarding conditions, treatments, and discharge planning. Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory requirements.
