Job Description Job Description Job Title: Registered Nurse – Emergency Department Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Emergency Department (ED) Location: Saratoga Springs, New York (Onsite) Contract Duration: 13 weeks Shift Details Shift: Night Shift Schedule: 3 × 12-hour shifts per week Shift Time: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM Block Scheduling: Not available Floating: May be required based on operational needs and skill set Role Overview The Emergency Department Registered Nurse provides high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced emergency setting. This role requires strong clinical judgment, the ability to respond quickly to critical situations, and proficiency in emergency nursing standards and workflows. Key Responsibilities Deliver emergency nursing care to patients with a wide range of acute and critical conditions Perform rapid assessments, prioritize care, and initiate appropriate interventions Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret telemetry data Administer medications and treatments safely using automated medication systems Document patient care accurately using electronic health record systems Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams Float to other units as needed, based on competency and departmental requirements Required Qualifications Active New York RN license (must be in hand prior to submission) Minimum experience: 5 years of recent Emergency Department experience (preferred) Current certifications: BLS (required) PALS (required) NIH Stroke Scale (required) Ability to read and interpret cardiac rhythms Must pass a facility-proctored rhythm interpretation exam ? 80% accuracy in general rhythm identification 100% accuracy in identifying critical rhythms Experience with: Telemetry monitoring Electronic health record (EHR) charting systems Automated medication dispensing systems Requested time off (RTO): 7 days or fewer Preferred Qualifications ACLS certification Triage experience Experience in high-acuity or trauma-level emergency departments For more details reach at sthakur@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 732 791 4807 - EXT 4807 .
