Registered Nurse (RN) | Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma Location: Rochester, NY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,240 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/16/2026 About the Position Job Title: ER Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Mid 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year required License: New York license required in hand to submit Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS Must-Have: - 1 year of experience in an Emergency Department - Ability to manage and interpret dysrhythmias - Experience with blood product administration and central line care - Proficient in phlebotomy and starting IVs - Familiarity with emergency medications and procedural sedation administration - Experience in managing patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure Description: This position requires a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Room. The nurse will work with a patient ratio of 1:5. All shifts will include a mix of adult and pediatric patients. The candidate should be able to work weekends and floating is required when census warrants. Experience with Epic charting is preferred. Must be able to obtain and interpret 12 lead EKG/ECG. Responsibilities include managing patients with dysrhythmias and applying splints as necessary. The unit may have daily census numbers around 64 with approximately 145 visits per day. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams for patient support is essential. Candidates must be flexible and have minimal restrictions for time off. COVID-19 vaccination is not required.
