Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Johnson City, NY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,476 per week Shift Information: 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/2/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nurse Specialty: Staff Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 6 months to 3 years License: Current RN License Certifications: BLS Certification Must-Have: Med Surg traveler experience Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) protects, promotes, and optimizes health and abilities. Prevention of illness and injury and the alleviation of suffering are key responsibilities. The RN diagnoses and treats human responses and advocates for individuals and families. The RN is responsible for compliance with all standards of practice and professional development. This includes adhering to all relevant practices and policies and maintaining the Bill of Patient Rights. The RN promotes a caring and healing environment for patient-centered care. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, delegating, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating nursing care. The RN serves as a primary or accountable nurse based on unit assignment and safety considerations. Patient and family education in health promotion and disease management is essential. The RN utilizes knowledge of pharmacology and safely administers medications as per policy. Shared responsibility for productivity and effective resource utilization is expected. Compliance with all nursing practice standards and regulatory requirements is mandatory. The RN actively participates in the Nursing Shared Governance Model and supports initiatives. Engagement in professional development and completing all mandatory education requirements is required. Integration of nursing research and current evidence into practice is essential. The RN provides a supportive learning environment for new employees and students. All values of the organization will be adhered to. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
