Job Description HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room Level I for a travel nursing job in Watertown, New York. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/23/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Title Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR) Location Watertown NY Duration 13 Weeks Shift 8-hour day shifts 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Weekend, holiday, and on-call required Key Responsibilities - Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care in the Operating Room - Maintain a safe, sterile, and aseptic surgical environment in OR/ASU settings - Assess patient needs including clinical, educational, mental, and spiritual aspects of care - Identify and address safety risks, including proper use of patient lifts and safe patient handling - Interpret lethal dysrhythmias and respond appropriately - Function effectively in high-stress situations using strong clinical judgment and problem-solving skills - Prioritize, delegate, and provide leadership to support patient care and workflow - May assume charge nurse responsibilities as required - Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesia, and interdisciplinary teams Required Qualifications - Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing - Current New York State RN license or eligibility for licensure - Successful completion and passing of final exam required as a condition of employment - Strong knowledge of nursing principles and perioperative practices - Ability to work independently and in fast-paced surgical environments Current Certifications - BLS required About HonorVet Technologies HonorVet Technologies: Pioneering Purpose, Empowering Heroes Founded in 2015, HonorVet Technologies stands as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), proudly certified by NaVOBA and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
