Join our healthcare team and make a difference in neonatal intensive care while enjoying all that upstate New York has to offer./n /n/nNICU RN Job Details – Ithaca, NY/n /n - Location: Ithaca, NY 14850 (New York healthcare jobs)/n - Facility: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Maternal Child Health Department/n - Assignment Type: Travel RN contract/n - Start Date: June 1, 2025/n - End Date: August 31, 2025/n - Contract Duration: 13 weeks/n - Shift: 12-hour night shifts (3 shifts/week)/n - Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week/n - Estimated Weekly Salary: $2100-$2250/n /n/nNICU Registered Nurse Qualifications/n /n - Active RN license in New York State (NYS RN license required)/n - Associate of Applied Science in Nursing or higher (BSN preferred)/n - Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience (NICU or post-partum nursing experience preferred)/n - BLS certification required upon hire/n - ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required within 6 months of hire/n - Ability to perform repetitive hand and finger movements, light lifting, and stand or walk for extended periods/n /n/nNICU RN Responsibilities/n /n - Deliver direct patient care to neonates and mothers in the Maternal Child Health department/n - Collaborate with nursing leadership and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure high-quality clinical support/n - Perform patient assessment, data collection, care planning, implementation, and evaluation for physical, psychological, emotional, educational, and spiritual needs/n - Maintain compliance with nursing standards and guidelines (AWONN, ACOG, NNA, AORN)/n - Operate and maintain NICU equipment and technology for optimal patient care/n /n/n Apply now to join our dedicated healthcare team as a NICU Registered Nurse in Ithaca, NY.
