DESCRIPTION: Medical Assistant (MA) Family Care practice Full-Time (40 hours/week) or Part-time (20 - 29 hours/week) Day shift Flexible schedule $19.00 - $27.00 per hour (depending on experience) Non-Exempt Training for the position is full-time schedule for 6 - 8 weeks Patient Care Techs (PCT) encouraged to apply. Medical Assistants (MA's) are assigned to a provider's team to work with patients, from start to finish, and implement our preventive care measures. You are actively involved in the health and wellbeing of our patients. They will oversee the care team that consists of nurses, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants and Diabetic Educators who might interact with the patients when they visit the office. Our care team will work towards ensuring that the patients receive the appropriate age-related preventative testing and treatment as well as the latest evidence-based treatment (proven and documented) for their individual medical condition(s).
