If you are passionate about maternal and neonatal health and meet the qualifications, this position is your chance to make a meaningful impact and advance your career. /n/n Pay Package: /nWeekly gross pay of $2,448.00 /n$68 per hour /n$102 per hour overtime rate /n /n/n Required Skills: /n/n /n/t - Valid New York RN license/n/t - Minimum of 2 years’ experience in labor and delivery or maternal health/n/t - Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications from the American Heart Association/n/t - Proficiency in monitoring maternal and fetal vital signs during labor and postpartum/n/t - Ability to perform cervical checks and assess labor progression/n/t - Skilled in evaluating contraction patterns and documenting labor stages/n/t - Capable of responding to labor-related complications such as fetal distress or preeclampsia/n/t - Experience assisting in vaginal and cesarean deliveries/n/t - Competence in maintaining sterile environments and neonatal resuscitation/n/t - Strong collaboration skills with OB/GYNs, midwives, and healthcare teams/n /n/n Preferred Education and Experience: /n/n /n/t - Relevant clinical experience in labor and delivery within an acute care setting for at least 2 years./n/t - Prior experience performing neonatal resuscitation and managing obstetric emergencies./n /n/n Other Requirements: /n/n /n/t - Must be available to work 12-hour night shifts /n/t - Must hold a current, valid RN license in New York State/n/t - No additional travel or licensing requirements specified; local travel may be involved based on placement/n /n/n Why Choose Medical Edge? /nMedical Edge Recruitment offers a robust support system dedicated to your success.
