Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – New York Start Date: February 9, 2026 Location: Utica, New York Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 2:30 PM – 3:00 AM; block scheduling subject to operational needs Highlights: High-acuity 64-bed Emergency Department serving diverse patient populations from newborn through geriatric Comprehensive case mix including stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure Epic EMR system; specialty equipment includes Rapid Infuser and Arctic Sun Unit features 40 acute beds, 2 trauma bays, 10 CDU beds, 6 psych beds, 6 super track, and 2 triage stations Charge capability highly preferred; floating required as needed Travel experience required; local candidates welcome Requirements: Active New York RN license (compact accepted if multi-state) Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience Pediatric patient care experience required Previous travel nursing experience required Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC (TNCC must be in hand prior to start) Epic EMR experience required Two recent ED Charge or Manager RN references required Why It's a Great Opportunity: This Emergency Department role offers exposure to a full spectrum of high-acuity cases in a busy, well-equipped environment.
