Inpatient Care. Is seeking an experienced and dynamic Medical
Director of Hospital Medicine to lead a team of dedicated
hospitalists at Syracuse, New York . This is a rare opportunity for
a proven physician leader to shape hospitalist services in a
respected, community-focused health system known for excellence in
patient care and teamwork. ??? About the Role As the Medical
Director of Hospital Medicine , you will: Provide leadership and
oversight of the Hospital Medicine department Guide inpatient care
delivery and performance initiatives Collaborate with clinical and
administrative leaders to implement best practices Promote quality,
safety, and operational efficiency Lead recruitment, retention, and
mentoring of hospitalist team members Ensure compliance with
clinical and regulatory standards Use Epic EMR for seamless
documentation and workflow Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday
(40–50 hours/week) No weekends or on-call requirements Focused
leadership and clinical responsibilities Qualifications ? Board
Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine ? Active New York
Medical License (or willingness to obtain) ? Minimum 2 years of
leadership experience (acute care preferred) ? Proven track record
in hospital medicine leadership ? Strong communication,
collaboration, and team development skills ? Clean malpractice and
