Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (Travel Contract) Start Date:
December 2, 2025 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x12-Hour Nights (7:00
PM – 7:00 AM) Openings: 1 Position Overview We are seeking an
experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel
assignment. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical judgment,
experience with high-risk obstetric care, and a commitment to
supporting mothers and newborns through all stages of labor,
delivery, and recovery. You’ll join a collaborative,
patient-centered team providing exceptional care in a fast-paced
L&D environment. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive
nursing care to laboring, antepartum, and postpartum patients.
Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries, including high-risk
and multiple gestations. Manage and monitor patients receiving
magnesium sulfate, oxytocin (Pitocin), and other obstetric
medications. Perform external and internal fetal monitoring (EFM
and IUPC). Support neonatal resuscitation and immediate newborn
care, including APGAR scoring and stabilization. Administer
medications and manage IV therapy per physician orders. Collaborate
with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and NICU teams to ensure
safe, high-quality care. Accurately document patient care and
outcomes using the EPIC charting system. Additional Details
Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts, every other weekend required.
Orientation: 36 hours provided. Float Requirement: Yes, as needed.
Scrub Color: Navy bottoms; navy or white tops. Locals: Must reside
at least 75 miles from the facility. Patient Population: Pregnant
and postpartum patients at any gestational age, including triage
