Registered Nurse (RN) | Labor & Delivery Location: Ithaca, NY Agency: Job.com Pay: $2,500 to $2,700 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Opening: Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery Unit (Night Shift) Schedule: 3x12 Hour Shifts (Nights) Duration: 13 Weeks Location: Ithaca, NY Weekly Pay: $2,500 – $2,700 Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Labor & Delivery Unit at a reputable healthcare facility in Ithaca, NY . This is a 13-week contract assignment with night shifts (3x12s), ideal for nurses with a strong background in maternal-child health who are looking for a travel opportunity or short-term placement. Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive care to patients during labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period. Monitor fetal heart tones, labor progress, and maternal condition. Administer medications and assist with epidurals and other procedures. Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and other members of the care team. Ensure patient safety, comfort, and emotional support throughout labor and delivery. Requirements Requirements: Active RN license in New York (or compact license if applicable). Minimum 1-2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience . Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications (AWHONN Fetal Monitoring preferred). Strong critical thinking, communication, and patient advocacy skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
