Department, including traveler experience with knowledge in trauma,
STEMI, stroke, sepsis, and pediatric care. License: Current

Associate's degree from an accredited school of Nursing - Current
Client Registered Nurse License - BLS Certification Description:
The Registered Nurse (RN) protects, promotes, and optimizes health
and abilities. Prevention of illness and injury, and the
alleviation of suffering through diagnosis and treatment of human
responses is essential. Advocacy in the care of individuals and
families is a key responsibility of the RN. The RN is responsible
and accountable for compliance with all standards of practice and
professional development. This aligns with relevant nursing
policies and ethical codes. The RN promotes a caring and healing
environment for patient-centered care. Responsibilities include
assessing, planning, delegating, coordinating, implementing, and
evaluating nursing care. The RN manages a group of patients,
serving as a primary nurse or accountable nurse when designated.
Educating patients and families in health promotion and disease
management using available resources is vital. Utilizing knowledge
of pharmacology and administering medications safely per policy is
expected. RNs will share in the responsibility for productivity and
effective resource utilization, including staffing and time
management. Compliance with all nursing practice standards and
regulatory requirements is mandatory. Active participation in
nursing governance and improvement initiatives is encouraged.
Engagement in professional development and completion of mandatory
education is required. Integration of nursing research and current
evidence into practice is essential. Providing a supportive
learning environment for new employees and students is expected.
Performing duties related to the Charge Nurse or Shift Coordinator
role may be required. Additional responsibilities may be assigned
as necessary. Required skills and experience include collaboration,
communication, judgment, critical thinking, organizational
understanding, planning, problem-solving, quality, reliability,
safety, and risk management. Preferred skills include previous
clinical nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting.
Preferred education includes a Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
