A skilled Registered Nurse with PACU expertise is needed for a 13-week contract assignment in Baldwinsville, NY, supporting the recovery room at a downtown hospital. This role involves caring for patients in both preoperative and postoperative phases within an acute care environment. The position requires working six 12-hour shifts over two weeks, including every other weekend, with no on-call duties. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Current New York State RN registration Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) with ability to maintain recertification Minimum of 2 years recent inpatient PACU and critical care experience within the last 2 years Experience in acute care hospitals of similar or greater size; travelers must have experience in equal or higher level trauma centers Familiarity with EPIC Electronic Medical Records preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Clean professional licensure record with no suspensions or investigations Legal authorization to work in the U.S. Successful completion of pre-employment health clearance, drug screening, and background check Location:Baldwinsville, NY, offers a welcoming community environment with proximity to urban amenities and natural landscapes.
