Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Telemetry Location: Watertown, NY Agency: Health Saviours Pay: $2,372 to $2,412 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Position: MS/Tele FLOAT Location: Watertown, New York, 13601 Contract Length: 13 weeks Shifts: 12hrs Nights Total Weekly Gross: $ 2412 weekly on 36 hours ($67/hr) Weekly Stipend: $ 1400 Weekly Taxable: $ 1012 pays for 36 hours ($28.11/hr) Requirements MS/Tele FLOAT RN 60 Mile Radius Rule FLOAT: MS 4 Pav, MS 5 Pratt and the acute inpatient rehab (ortho/neuro) BLS, ACLS REQUIRED RATIO: 1:5-6 Meditech experience required Traveler must hold CURRENT NY license. Traveler should have completed at least 1 successful traveler assignment. First time travelers will NOT be considered. Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing. Common patient diagnosis: Septic, COPD, CHF, post op, general med surg, post-op plastics, ALC (waiting to go to nursing home) Required drips and medications: Heparin drips, mag and k riders Possesses a thorough knowledge of nursing principles. Ability to provide quality patient care, and ability to assess patient's needs, e.g. clinical, teaching, mental and spiritual. Must recognize safety issues to self and others and be able to assess and implement use of lifts to and move patients in a safe manner. Must be able to function well in stressful situations and have good, creative, problem-solving skills. Strong leadership skills with the ability to prioritize and delegate. May be required to assume duties as a charge nurse. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills required.
