Job Description:
St. Josephs Health, a leading healthcare system in Central New
York, is seeking a Surgicalist Physician to join our dynamic and
supportive team in Syracuse. This position focuses exclusively on
emergency and acute surgical care within a hospital setting,
offering an engaging and fulfilling medical practice in a collegial
environment. Enjoy the flexibility to focus solely on inpatient
surgical care or add outpatient clinic time to your schedule if
want to maintain continuity with select patients. We are committed

weeks per month | 5 ten-hour days/week (Monday-Friday) - Total of
180 weekday shifts per year - 2 weekend days per month | 24 shifts
per year PRACTICE ENVIRONMENT - Work alongside a dedicated,
high-performing care team - Our Surgicalist is supported by an
experienced team of surgical PAs who assist in the OR and play a
key role in managing floor rounding and patient care. -
Hospital-based with no clinic responsibilities, option to pick up
clinic time QUALIFICATIONS - Active New York State medical license
and DEA - Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery -
3-4 years experience required This is an exciting opportunity for a
General Surgeon to enjoy an excellent quality of life, while
working alongside highly trained physicians and support staff.
RECRUITMENT PACKAGE St. Josephs Physicians offers an excellent
compensation and benefit package including: - Base Salary: $290,000
- $315,000 annually - Quality Bonus: Up to $25,000 - Opportunity to
earn Additional Compensation: - $1,750 per additional Surgicalist
shift - $750 per 14-hour weekday overnight shift (Mon-Fri) - $1,200
per 24-hour weekend shift (Sat-Sun) - $1,200 per 24-hour holiday
shift
