Job Description:

top-tier Level III NICU is seeking an experienced NICU Physician
Assistant for weekend locum tenens coverage , offering competitive
pay, paid travel & lodging, and full malpractice coverage.
Assignment Details: Start Date: Mid-August 2025 Schedule: 12-
and/or 24-hour weekend shifts Shift Focus: NICU (Level III)
Well-Baby nursery (nights only) Unit Size: 16-bed NICU Avg.
Admissions: 0–2 per shift Avg. Census: 8–9 patients EMR: EPIC Key
Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care in a Level III NICU
Attend C-sections and deliveries Manage ventilation (ETT, CPAP,
BiPAP), chest tubes, UVC/UAC, LPs, taps Supervise RNs and support
staff (no NNP oversight) Collaborate with on-site neonatologists
(daytime) and 24/7 call support No transport responsibilities –
transfers managed by nearby Level IV NICU Compensation & Benefits:
Pay Rate: $140/hour Malpractice coverage included Complimentary

Certified NICU PA Active NY license Must be confident in
independent NICU patient management Must be able to perform core
