Labor/Delivery RN in Watertown, New York, 13601! Pay Information
$2,400 to $2,500 per week About The Position Provide direct nursing
care to patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery.
Perform vaginal examinations and assess labor progress. Circulate
and assist during cesarean sections, including patient recovery
following spinal anesthesia. Monitor and document maternal and
fetal conditions, vital signs, and labor progress. Identify and
intervene promptly in life-threatening or emergent obstetric
situations. Educate patients and families on childbirth,
breastfeeding, and postpartum care. Collaborate with physicians,
midwives, anesthesiologists, and neonatal staff to ensure
coordinated care. Ensure compliance with safety standards and
hospital policies. Utilize lifts and assistive devices for safe
patient handling. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the
electronic medical record system. Demonstrate leadership through

Job Requirements Minimum Experience: 2 years of current Labor and
Delivery experience preferred. Licensure: Active New York State RN
License. BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required NRP (Neonatal
Resuscitation Program) – Required Education: Graduate of an
accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred). Skills &
Competencies: Ability to recognize and respond to life-threatening
situations. Proficiency in performing vaginal exams and circulating
cesarean sections. Strong clinical assessment, teaching, and
patient advocacy skills. Excellent interpersonal, organizational,
verbal, and written communication abilities. Must function
effectively under pressure and demonstrate creative problem-solving
