Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse – Pediatric Emergency Room (PEDS
ER) Location: Syracuse, NY Contract Duration: 16 Weeks Shift:
12-Hour Nights | 36 Hours per Week Responsibilities: - Provide
immediate and efficient care for pediatric patients presenting with
acute, chronic, or critical conditions. - Assess, triage, and
manage patient care using established emergency protocols. -
Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and perform necessary
interventions under physician direction. - Collaborate closely with
physicians, healthcare staff, and families to ensure comprehensive
care. - Utilize EPIC EMR for accurate documentation of patient care
and updates. - Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety
standards, and infection control practices. - Provide emotional
support and education to patients and their families during
high-stress situations. Requirements: - Active RN License – New
York State or Compact State License. - Certifications: BLS, ACLS,
and PALS required (AHA certified). - Experience: Minimum 2 years of
Pediatric ER or Emergency Department experience in an acute care
setting. - Excellent critical thinking, communication, and
multitasking skills. - Strong ability to remain calm and effective
under pressure. - Must be flexible with schedule and willing to
