Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Radiology Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 11/17/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Radiologic Technologist Location: Watertown, NY (Samaritan Medical Center) Schedule: Day/Night shifts with weekend rotation Duration: 13 weeks Job Summary: The Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases and injuries. The technologist ensures high-quality imaging, patient safety, and compliance with departmental standards and state regulations. Responsibilities: - Perform radiologic procedures according to physician orders and department protocols. - Ensure proper patient positioning, shielding, and comfort during procedures. - Evaluate images for diagnostic quality and accuracy. - Maintain and operate radiology equipment safely and efficiently. - Adhere to all safety, infection control, and confidentiality policies. - Maintain accurate records and documentation. Requirements: - Minimum of 1 year of radiologic/imaging experience (Radiology-specific experience preferred). - Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology. - Active New York State License. - Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). - Current BCLS certification. - Strong knowledge of general anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. - Maintains all required state and federal registries and licenses.
