Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ED - Emergency Department - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 11/24/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN)/n/n Location/n Located within a 60-mile radius of New York State. /n/nAssignment Duration/n This is a 13-week contract position. /n/nSchedule/n Nights: 7 PM - 7 AM, with a guaranteed 36 hours per week. /n/nJob Description/n The Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in an acute care setting, with responsibilities focused on assessing and responding to life-threatening situations. The RN will work effectively under pressure and manage patient care utilizing strong problem-solving skills. /n/nResponsibilities/n /n - Assess patient's clinical, teaching, mental, and spiritual needs. /n - Identify and intervene in life-threatening situations promptly. /n - Provide quality patient care in stressful situations. /n - Function as a charge nurse as required. /n - Ensure safety and implement proper techniques for patient movement. /n - Maintain thorough knowledge of nursing principles and practices. /n /n/nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure/n /n - Current New York State RN license. /n - BLS and ACLS certification required. /n - PALS certification required or to be obtained within six months of hire. /n - Experience with MEDITECH is mandatory. /n - Travel experience is required. /n - Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing. /n - Minimum of one year of acute care nursing experience required; critical care and charge experience preferred. /n - IV, medication, and phlebotomy certification must be completed during orientation. /n /n/nWhy ARMStaffing?/n At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
