Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 11/06/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Title: RN – Operating Room (OR) Location: 750 E Adams Street, Syracuse, NY 13210 Shift: - Day Shift (4×10 Hours): 07:00 AM – 05:30 PM and 11:00 AM – 09:30 PM - Mix of 4×8s (07:00–15:30, 11:00–19:30, 15:00–23:30) and 4×12s (07:00–19:30, 11:00–23:30) - Schedule: Monday–Friday and every 3rd weekend - Block Schedules: Not available Required Skills & Experience: - Minimum 2 years recent OR experience in general, ortho, trauma, neuro, and robotics (MUST SCRUB) - Trauma Level II experience required; Trauma Level I preferred - Epic charting system experience preferred - Previous charge nurse experience preferred - General OR, Trauma, Robotics (Mako Surgical System) experience required - Must be able to float to other areas as needed across campuses - IV therapy experience and ability to read telemetry strips required Education: - Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required - BSN preferred Certifications: - Active NY RN License (must be active upon submission — firm requirement) - AHA BLS required - AHA ACLS required - PALS required (for ED coverage if needed) About HonorVet Technologies HonorVet Technologies: Pioneering Purpose, Empowering Heroes Founded in 2015, HonorVet Technologies stands as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), proudly certified by NaVOBA and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
