Job Description Anesthesiology Opening in Syracuse, NYSeeking
general anesthesiologists. Join a supportive team and collegial
working environment. Practitioners are encouraged to practice to
their skillset and are not locked into a specific service line.
Case Mix: Cardiac, major vascular, orthopedics, obstetrics,
neurosurgery, general surgery, urology, and gynecology. Minimal
pediatric- mainly at ASC. No transplants. No trauma. 1 in-house
Anesthesiologist and 1 beeper-call as backup.* Regional non-profit
healthcare system based in Syracuse, NY. Hospital offers primary,
specialty, and home care, and collaboration with community
partners.Responsibilities Assist in the directing and coordinating
of activities in the Anesthesia Department Responsible for the
medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or
insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other
medical procedures Pre-anesthesia assessment Obtains and/or
verifies patient consent Discuss anesthetic options and risks with
the patient Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition* Performance of
clinical intervention as neededRequirements M.D./D.O. Degree from
an accredited College of Medicine ECFMG and FLEX Completion of
approved residency in anesthesia Currently licensed as a
physicianCompensation Details General Call-taking Anesthesiologist:
$600K with 10 weeks of PTO Nigh Float Anesthesiologist: $625k,
7on/7off (no PTO) Per-Diem Anesthesiologist: $300/hour 1099
Anesthesiologist: $300/hour Total Rewards: Sign-on package with
