Job Description & Requirements - Specialty:ED - Emergency Department - Discipline:RN - Start Date:07/14/2025 - Duration:12 weeks - 24 hours per week - Shift:12 hours - Employment Type:Travel Registered Nurse - Emergency Department (Part-Time) Geneva NY Schedule:2x12-hour shifts/week 2 on-call shifts in 4 weeks | Day/Night/Weekend/Holiday rotation $Payrate $57/hour Certifications Required:BLS, ACLS, PALS, Stroke Certification (AHA or RQI only) Experience Required: - Minimum 2 years of acute hospital RN experience - Minimum 1 year of emergency department RN experience Job Summary: The Emergency Department RN delivers compassionate, high-quality care in a fast-paced setting. Responsible for rapid assessment, triage, and implementation of emergency interventions for patients of all ages. The role requires skilled use of invasive and non-invasive procedures, clear communication with patients/families, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes. The nurse educates and prepares patients for ongoing care, promotes a healing environment, and ensures safety, comfort, and trust throughout the emergency visit. Key Responsibilities: - Perform triage and prioritize care per emergency protocols - Conduct primary and secondary assessments and document findings - Deliver therapeutic interventions for routine and life-threatening conditions - Educate patients and families on diagnostics, treatment, and discharge plans - Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members - Ensure compliance with infection prevention and patient safety guidelines - Provide trauma-informed, culturally sensitive care to diverse populations Skills: Skill Required / Desired Amount of Experience Expertise Rating Move BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, NYS RN Licensure Required Two (2) Years Experience serving as a Registered Nurse, at least One (1) in an ER Environment Required 2 Years Questions: Question 1 Have you worked at any of the FLH Locations in the last two years?
