Job Description:
Job Title: L&D RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and
Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12
Experience: Current NYS RN license required. Graduate from an
accredited School of Nursing. Ability to identify and intervene in
life-threatening situations. Possesses thorough knowledge of
nursing principles. Ability to provide quality patient care.
Ability to assess patient needs, including clinical, teaching,
mental, and spiritual. Recognize safety issues for self and others.
Able to assess and implement the use of lifts to move patients
safely. Function well in stressful situations. Good creative
problem-solving skills. Strong leadership skills with the ability
to prioritize and delegate. Excellent interpersonal,
organizational, and written and verbal communication skills.
License: Current NYS RN license required. Certifications: BLS and
NRP required. Must-Have: Ability to perform vaginal exams. Ability
to circulate c-sections and recover spinal anesthesia. Description:
This nursing position focuses on labor and delivery care.
