(10:30 PM – 6:30 AM, 5x8s) Pay Range: $40 - $45 per hour Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed
Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for a
13-week contract in a long-term care facility located in Utica, NY
. This position requires the ability to float to all units within
the same building and includes working every other weekend . You
will work on a 40-bed unit serving patients with a variety of needs
including medical-surgical (MS), orthopedic, dementia, and memory
care . Responsibilities: Provide nursing care and services to
residents in accordance with care plans Administer medications and
treatments as prescribed Monitor residents' health status and
report changes to the RN or physician Collaborate with
interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care
Maintain accurate medical records using PointClick Care (PCC) EMR
Assist with ADLs and provide emotional support to residents Ensure
compliance with state, federal, and facility policies Requirements:
Active New York LPN License – Required BLS Certification – Required
Minimum of 1 year of recent LTC or relevant nursing experience Must
be willing to float to all units (within the same building)
Experience working with diverse patient populations including MS,
ortho, dementia, and memory care preferred Familiarity with
PointClick Care (PCC) EMR system is a plus Strong communication and
teamwork skills Must be available to work every other weekend
Schedule & Hours: Shift: 10:30 PM – 6:30 AM Days: Rotating schedule
with every other weekend required Contract Details: Duration: 13
Weeks Pay Rate: $40 - $45 per hour (based on experience and
qualifications) Minimum of 1 year of recent LTC or relevant nursing
experience Familiarity with PointClick Care (PCC) EMR system is a
