As part of a collaborative and supportive healthcare team, you will assess patient needs, develop and adjust care plans, educate patients and families, and advocate for optimal patient outcomes. You will work a rotational schedule covering days, nights, weekends, and holidays.Key Responsibilities - Deliver patient-centered care by applying clinical judgment, nursing theory, and current practice standards - Assess and monitor patient condition and progress - Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to plan and coordinate care - Administer medications and therapeutic interventions as appropriate - Provide individualized patient and family education to support post-discharge recovery - Promote patient safety and infection control in all areas of care - Participate in quality improvement activities and self-directed professional development - Contribute to a healing environment that supports both physical and emotional well-being Requirements - Active and unencumbered New York State RN license - Must have 1–2 years of acute care or medical/surgical nursing experience - Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA or RQI only) - NIH Stroke Scale Certification - Must be willing to rotate shifts including weekends and holidays - Local candidates are not eligible to apply for RN travel positions Why Choose This Assignment?
