Job Description:

Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join the Operative Services team for a 13-week assignment. The CST will support the surgical team by preparing the operating room, maintaining sterile technique, and assisting during a variety of surgical procedures. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain a sterile operating environment. Set up surgical instruments and equipment for procedures. Assist surgeons and the surgical team during operations. Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and provide instruments and supplies in a timely manner. Ensure that all surgical instruments and supplies are accounted for before, during, and after procedures. Adhere strictly to hospital policies and protocols, especially regarding infection control and patient safety. Handle and label surgical specimens properly. Clean and sterilize equipment post-procedure and assist in OR turnover. Maintain accurate documentation and reporting throughout procedures.
