Experience: Minimum 2 years in Radiation Oncology License: NYS RN
license required Certifications: BLS, PEARs, ACLS Must-Have: Recent
radiation oncology experience preferred Experience accessing ports
required Description: This is a nursing opportunity to join a
diverse and multidisciplinary radiation oncology team. The team
cares for adult and pediatric patients in a busy oncology clinic.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Patient
assessments. Patient education. Telephone triage. Care
coordination. Assisting with a variety of special exams, including
the administration of contrast dye and IV fluids. The care team
treats patients with cancers of the head, neck, lung, prostate,
breast, skin, and other diagnoses.
