Job Description Rang Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Watertown, New York. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 07/14/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Title: RN Med Surg Location: Watertown, NY Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 12hr Nights - 7p-7a, weekend, holiday and call required Job Description: RN should be comfortable Floating to Med/Surg and PCU Coronary Care experience needed as well Traveler should have completed at least 1 successful traveler assignment. Possesses a thorough knowledge of nursing principles. Ability to provide quality patient care, and ability to assess patient's needs, e.g. clinical, teaching, mental and spiritual. Must recognize safety issues to self and others and be able to assess and implement use of lifts to and move patients in a safe manner. Must be able to function well in stressful situations and have good, creative, problem-solving skills. Strong leadership skills with the ability to prioritize and delegate. May be required to assume duties as a charge nurse. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills required. Qualifications: Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing. Additional Requirements: Traveler must hold CURRENT NY license. BLS required or obtained within 3 months of hire.
