Title: Staff Nurse (RN) Location: Johnson City, NY 13790 Shift:
3x12-Hour Day Shifts Job Summary We’re seeking a compassionate and
highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in Johnson City.
In this role, you’ll protect, promote, and optimize health outcomes
through patient-centered care. As part of the team, you'll be
working in a collaborative, supportive, and high-quality healthcare
environment. Key Responsibilities Deliver safe, effective, and
evidence-based nursing care. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate
individualized care plans. Educate patients and families on health
promotion and condition management. Administer medications and
treatments per hospital policy and best practices. Collaborate with
interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality outcomes. Participate in
shared governance, unit councils, and continuous improvement.
Mentor new staff and support student learners. Engage in ongoing
professional development and meet all required education. Maintain
compliance with all hospital policies, regulatory standards, and
ethical practices. Required Skills & Experience 6 months to 3 years
of RN experience (acute or ambulatory care) Strong skills in
critical thinking, communication, organization, and problem-solving
Ability to manage multiple priorities and contribute to team-based
care Reliability in time management, safety protocols, and patient
advocacy Preferred Experience 5 years of direct patient care
nursing experience Acute care or specialty clinical nursing
background Experience in preceptorship or mentoring Education
Requirements Required: Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Certifications &
Licensure Required: Current NY State RN License BLS Certification
(AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross) Preferred: Specialty
Certification (e.g., Medical-Surgical Nursing, Critical Care)
Additional unit-based certifications (e.g., ACLS, PALS, TNCC) Why
