TalentBurst, Inc is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Waterloo, New York. Discipline: RN ~ Start Date: ASAP ~ Shift: 8 hours, nights ~ Employment Type: Travel RN Supervisor - FT evenings (5x8s), EOW, Holiday Minimum: NYS RN licensure, min. 1-year nurse experience in long term care supervisory experience across multiple units Graduate of an accredited School of Registered Professional Nursing. Professional Nurse licensure Under the direction of the Director of Nursing - LTC and in accordance with established policies and procedures, oversees the operation of the nursing units and personally or through subordinates, provides clinical supervision to employees assigned to the various nursing units. - Assures quality resident care through teaching and supervision of staff on respective shifts. - Communicates with Director of Nursing and/or Nurse Manager regarding identified and potential unit problems and collaborates with Director of Nursing and/or Nurse Managers to resolve problems. Contacts Director of Nursing on off hours for Makes sound administrative decisions in the absence of the Director of Nursing and the Administrator - LTC (off-shift/weekends) within identified scope of responsibility. Under the direction of the Director of Nursing - LTC and in accordance with established policies and procedures, oversees the operation of the nursing units and personally or through subordinates, provides clinical supervision to employees assigned to the various nursing units. with medical staff, department managers, ancillary services and customers in a Computer literacy. being professional, communicating effectively, and attending to the care behavior which ensures safety, promotes dignity, respect and well-being, and Skill Required / Desired Amount of Experience Expertise Rating Move NYS RN licensure Required BLS (through AHA or RQI specifically) Required Geneva General Hospital, Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital, The Homestead, Huntington Living Center or Living Center North/Living Center South) Are you available to work the required shifts as outlined? (Full Time 5x8s, evenings, every other weekend, holidays if required)? Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
