together. This position is full-time, Monday - Friday. Employees
are required to work our normal business hours of 8:00am – 4:30pm.
It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional
overtime. Primary Responsibilities: - Generate an estimate of
charges upon request for hospital inpatient only - Review all
demographics, contact information and pertinent information in the
chart with the patient, then review insurance information and
verify that within the system to make sure it is active with the
carrier - Collect the patient's liability of payment on the service
and enter the credit card machine and the EMR - Answer financial
assistance calls - Utilize work queues daily - Communicate
effectively with the team and work directly with the supervisor
daily to report collections and send that report nightly at close
of shift - Provide financial assistance information as appropriate
- Provide financial counseling as appropriate - The ideal person

in. Required Qualifications: - High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
- 2 years of customer service experience in a hospital or physician
office setting - 2 years of experience working with hospital
billing and insurance - 2 years of EMR (Epic) experience - Ability
to work our normal business hours of 8:00am – 4:30pm Preferred
Qualifications: - 1 years of healthcare collections experience -
Experience with Microsoft Office products - Experience in a
Hospital Patient Registration Department, Physician office or any
medical setting - Experience in insurance reimbursement and
financial verification - Experience in requesting and processing
financial payments - Working knowledge of medical terminology -
Understanding of insurance policies and procedures - Ability to
perform basic mathematics for financial payments Soft Skills: -
Strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills Pay
