Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Radiology Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 07/14/2025 - Duration: 12 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours - Employment Type: Travel Diagnostic Rad Tech (40 hours) - 4x10s Mon - Thurs, rotating call & weekends Required: ARRT, and OR C-Arm Experience Complete Description: Performs technical radiographic assignments. Exercises complex skills, judgement and knowledge of the principles and methods of Radiologic Technology. Performs diagnostic radiographic studies as requested. Operates portable diagnostic radiographic equipment where needed. Performs Infection Control according to Universal Precautions. Radiologic Technologist shall have the ability to provide care to infant, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. Job Duties: -Operates with accuracy: Radiographic equipment, Image processor, and other related equipment of similar scope and complexity across different modalities. Evaluates image quality and demonstrates accuracy of radiographic positioning based on procedure guidelines. -Ensures that proper radiation protection is used for self, patient, and other personnel by use of proper collimation and lead shielding when applicable. -Demonstrates flexibility in assuming emergency call weekday, weekend, and holiday rotation in addition to routine hours. Demonstrates competency in RIS. Utilizes system to enter and edit patient demographics and charges. Records other appropriate data including repeat rate notes, etc. Demonstrates competency with CR & PACS for image processing, image review, proper protocol selection, care and use of imaging plates and cassettes as well as troubleshooting.
