Job Description MedCadre is seeking a travel Certified Surgical Technologist Level II for a travel job in Rochester, New York. A good CST has great observational skills and empathy for patients while remaining professional. Key Responsibility Preparing sterile operating rooms for surgeries. Sterilizing equipment and instruments. Stocking adequate supplies for surgery. Preparing patients for surgery by washing and disinfecting incision sites. Providing support during surgery by passing instruments and other supplies. Tracking surgical supplies. Staying up-to-date on surgical technology, medical terminology, and procedures. Requirements: - 2 years experience required Experience required in ortho, total joint/hip replacement, neuro, robotics, thoracic, vascular. - CST Cert (NBSTSA) State License – NY license is required in hand to submit - BLS from AHA. - COVID card or Medical / Religious Exemption - Demonstrated ability to provide top-tier service and exceptional communication skills. CST Cert (NBSTSA) State License – NY license is required in hand./nCandidates within 75 miles of facility are not accepted by the Facility.
