12hr Nights - weekend, holiday and call required7p-7a13 weeksMS and LIKE UNITSNight Shift, 13-week assignment, possibly longerTraveler must hold CURRENT NY license.Coronary Care experience PREFERREDTraveler should have completed at least 1 successful traveler assignment.First time travelers will NOT be considered.Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.Previous hospital RN experience is preferred.BLS requiredACLS, PALS preferredPossesses a thorough knowledge of nursing principles. Ability to provide quality patient care, and ability to assess patient's needs, e.g. clinical, teaching, mental and spiritual.Must recognize safety issues to self and others and be able to assess and implement use of lifts to and move patients in a safe manner.Must be able to function well in stressful situations and have good, creative, problem-solving skills.Strong leadership skills with the ability to prioritize and delegate.May be required to assume duties as a charge nurse.Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills required.*Summary*As a Registered Nurse in the Float/Resource Pool, you will be essential in delivering high-quality patient care across various departments. Reporting to the Nurse Manager, you will utilize your core skills in patient assessment, IV insertion, and catheterization to support diverse patient needs. Your leadership abilities, along with certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS, will ensure effective communication and collaboration within the healthcare team. With premium skills in critical care and experience with EHR systems, you will contribute to optimal patient outcomes in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.*Responsibilities** Provide comprehensive patient care by conducting assessments, administering medications, and performing IV insertions and catheterizations.* Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.* Monitor patient vitals and respond to emergencies with appropriate interventions, ensuring adherence to BLS and ACLS protocols.* Maintain accurate patient records using EHR systems and communicate effectively with patients and families regarding care processes.* Participate in leadership activities and support nursing staff in delivering high-quality care across various departments.Job Type: ContractPay: $2,533.00 - $2,679.00 per weekPhysical Setting:* ClinicWork Location: In personby Jobble
