*Job Overview*We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in surgical operations under the supervision of surgeons, registered nurses, or other surgical personnel. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring surgeries run smoothly and efficiently.*Responsibilities** Prepare operating rooms for surgery* Set up surgical instruments and equipment* Assist the surgical team during procedures* Maintain a sterile field throughout the surgical procedure* Pass instruments and supplies to surgeons during surgery* Monitor and manage patient vital signs during surgery* Handle specimens for laboratory analysis* Adhere to infection control protocols* Assist with patient transport within the facility*Requirements** Certification as a Surgical Technologist* Proficiency in using Epic or similar electronic medical records systems* Knowledge of medical-surgical procedures and terminology* Experience working in an operating room (OR) setting* Familiarity with suture techniques and wound closure* Understanding of infection control practices* Previous experience in an Ambulatory Surgery Center or Level I Trauma Center is a plus* Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team* Strong organizational skills and attention to detailRN01Job Types: Travel healthcare, Travel nursing, ContractPay: $48.00 - $50.03 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:* Employee assistance program* Health insurance* Referral program* Relocation assistanceMedical Specialty:* Neurology* OrthopedicsSchedule:* 10 hour shift* 4x10* Day shiftExperience:* OR: 2 years (Required)License/Certification:* BLS Certification (Required)Work Location: In personby Jobble
