  • Assist in cardiac procedures such as coronary stents, right heart catheterizations, and angioplasties, ensuring patient safety and procedural efficiency.---
    
    
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and sedation levels during and after procedures, promptly addressing any adverse reactions.---
    
    
  • Administer medications orally and intravenously in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.---
    
    
  • Operate and maintain specialized equipment, including intra-aortic balloons and physiological recorders, to monitor electrocardiogram data.---
    
    
  • Educate patients and their families on post-procedure care, including surgical site maintenance, medication regimens, and lifestyle modifications.---
    
    
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.---
    
    
  • Manage documentation, including patient consent forms, charting, lab results, and procedure records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
    
    
    Job Requirements:
    
    • Current New York State RN license (or willingness to obtain).---
      
      
    • 3 years of experience.---
      
      
    • BLS certification (American Heart Association).---
      
      
    • ACLS certification (American Heart Association).---
      
      
    • ARRT certification.
