Anesthesiology Opening in Syracuse, NY _x000D x000D_ Case Mix: General, GYN, Bariatrics, Robotics, Ortho, Spine, Cranis, Thoracic, Vascular, Urology/Renal, ENT, Eyes, Plastics, Podiatry, Endo, EP/Cath Lab, Healthy Peds. No open heart surgeries._x000D_ Hospital is a private, not-for-profit hospital licensed for 506 acute-care bed serving patients from a 15-county area in Central and Northern New York. You will find a collegial anesthesia environment and supportive working relationships with the surgeons and OR staff._x000D x000D_ Responsibilities _x000D x000D_ Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department_x000D_ Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures_x000D_ Pre-anesthesia assessment_x000D_ Obtains and/or verifies patient consent_x000D_ Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia_x000D_ Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition_x000D_ Performance of clinical intervention as needed_x000D x000D_ Requirements _x000D x000D_ M.D./D.O.
