Requisition Number: 57041 Position Title: External Description: Registered Nurse - Emergency Department, Full Time Days or Evenings - 12 Hour Shifts UP TO $10,000 SIGN-ON BONUS for full-time new hires, based on experience* The brand new, state-of-the-art Wynn hospital is opening this year, and MVHS is seeking Registered Nurses to join our dynamic Emergency Department team! We need more nurses like you! MVHS is looking to add more nurses to our Emergency Department that have a strong passion about for providing care to a wide array of non-critical and critical trauma patients in a fast paced environment. Together, we are better. Core Job Responsibilities

• Assess patients' conditions
• Record patients' medical histories and symptoms
• Administer patients' medicines and treatments
• Set up plans for patients' care or contribute information to existing plans
• Teach patients and their families how to manage illnesses or injuries
• Consult and collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals Education/Experience Requirements Required: Graduate of an accredited associate degree. 1 year of RN experience is required. Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing from accredited nursing program or higher degree. Licensure/Certification Requirements Required: Current New York State licensure as a Registered Nurse Preferred: Basic Life Support Certification VACCINE REQUIREMENTS Effective January 1st 2022, you must be fully vaccinated with an FDA COVID-19 vaccination and provide proof of your vaccination status as part of your new employee pre-boarding.
