Job Description
HII-Mission Technologies is looking for a motivated individual to fill the role of Production Control Analyst for their Syracuse, NY Operations. This position will support production, prototyping, and other processes in a team-based environment. They will perform activities in a variety of cross-functional areas including production planning and control, total quality management, systems, manufacturing, and material management. The Production Control Analyst role will be an integral team member supporting various programs with respect to product planning, problem resolution, and process improvement.
Essential Job Responsibilities

• 
  
• 
  Scheduling and integrity of the MRP system for all assigned assemblies.
  
  
• 
  Status and reporting of manufacturing build to Operations Excellence Team members and leadership.
  
  
• 
  Effective management of kit issues, engagement in flow implementation, fulfillment of hardware needs to support manufacturing builds.
  
  
• 
  Effective factory implementation and cut-in of engineering and process changes.
  
  
• 
  Prioritization of workflow in partnership with manufacturing supervision and project managers.
  
  
• 
  The generation of reports providing work document status and material shortages for use by production and other functional teams.
  
  
• 
  Coordinates with Program Office, Production team, Prototyping team, and Stockroom to resolve issues in providing kits and materials.
  
  
  Minimum Qualifications
  
  • 
    
  • 
    Bachelor's degree or 2 years experience of relevant work experience.
    
    
  • 
    Proficiency in MS Office, Word, and Excel.
    
    
  • 
    Active Secret clearance a plus; must be eligible to obtain a US Government clearance
    
    
    Preferred Requirements
    
    • 
      
    • 
      Production Control experience supporting prototyping and production teams.
      
      
    • 
      MRP analyst or Inventory Control background
      
      
    • 
      Exposure to MRP Systems / CostPoint.
      
      
    • 
      Exposure to Lean Six Sigma and Quality Standards
      
      
    • 
      Experience using MS Excel for data analysis and management visibility reporting.
      
      
    • 
      Self-motivated and driven desire to succeed with minimal direction
      
      
    • 
      Ability to work both in a team and individually
      
      
    • 
      Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.
