Job Description:
Full Time - Director of Talent Acquisition
Recruitment & Retention:
Assess the recruitment, selection, hiring, onboarding, and
orientation process and consult with leaders across the
organization to do the same. Develop and implement strategies for
improvement.
Develop and implement the search advocate model to promote hiring.
Create and provide tools and training for Managers regarding
recruitment and retention
Conduct periodic reviews of recruitment/retention data points to
include workforce demographics, new hire, promotion, transfer, and
turnover data. Manage and monitor metrics to support the
Organizations strategic plan and monitoring report.
Maintain collaborative relationships with hiring managers by
developing recruitment plans, providing training and tools as
necessary to support effective recruiting and interview
processes.
Develop and maintain relationships with outside agencies,
recruiting sources, community, and industry groups, as well as
other community and technical college recruiters to support
efforts.
Build partnerships with external community organizations and
agencies that promotes a talent pipeline.
Support recruitment marketing by creating and managing social media
activity that promotes the organizations recruiting strategies and
position as the Employer of Choice.
Leverage data from climate surveys, exit interviews, new employee
surveys, and other data points to inform retention efforts. Develop
and implement strategies for improvements based on feedback.
Work collaboratively and supervise recruitment team
People Development:
Conduct regular training needs assessments. Establish training
outcomes, metrics, and assessments to manage and monitor efficacy
of people development activities.
Develop new employee onboarding and orientation modules.
OTHER WORK RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain professional growth and development through seminars,
workshops, and professional affiliations to keep abreast of latest
trends of higher education.
Ensure no injuries to self or others by following safe work
practices and policies. This includes, but is not limited to
security and safety, understanding of MSDS, equipment, infection
control, fire, disaster, safe lifting, and body mechanics.
Ensure compliance with organization policies and procedures and
state and federal regulations.
Conduct self in a professional manner and ensures the interaction
with team members and other stakeholders is conducted in a
courteous and efficient manner aligned with the organization's
values.
Perform related duties and responsibilities as may be required.
Requirements
Minimum & Desirable Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Human resources, Business Administration or
related field from a accredited institution.
A minimum of five to seven (5-7) years' broad based professional
work experience in the area(s) of recruitment and retention.
A minimum of two to three years (2-3) supervisory experience.
Experience applying federal and state employment laws, rules,
processes, and organizational policies.
Strong written communication skills. .
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and/or work experience with a focus on organization
behavior or management; adult learning; diversity, equity,
inclusion; or a closely related field.
Experience effectively facilitating small group activities such as
team building, workshops, and meetings.
Experience leading process improvement efforts.
Experience with HR systems , data reporting, and analysis.
Professional certification from a recognized human resources
/personnel association.
COMPETENCIES:
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills and ability to work
effectively as part of a team; ability to develop and maintain
effective working relationships with internal and external
constituents.
Ability to maintain confidentiality, think critically and exercise
independent judgment.
Attention to detail as well as previous experience maintaining
accurate records, managing multiple tasks and frequent deadlines,
and planning and organizing work to meet changing priorities and
deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically experience creating &
editing documents, spreadsheets, and presentations. Previous
success learning new computer software programs/platforms
required.
Ability to represent Auburn Community Hospital in a positive and
professional manner, while using tact, discretion, and
courtesy.
