Overview:
Seeking a Program Manager to be responsible for the planning, coordinating, and management of key, New Product Development and Sustaining programs.
Responsibilities:
--- Own the execution of the program in accordance with clients new product development process. Conduct Program Milestone /Phase gate reviews as per the process
--- Develop, maintain, and monitor program schedules
--- Prepare material and support/lead customer project status meetings
--- Organize and lead project focused, cross-functional team meetings to ensure project objectives and activities, key deliverables and schedule is being supported appropriately, working with Global teams to address/course correct as needed
--- Work with Engineering Management to outline resource needs and issues to ensure project success
--- Build strong relationships with key customer stakeholders and leaders
--- Follow-up & ensure the closure of all action items

Required Skills:
--- 5-10 years of proven experience as a Program Manager running small (less than 1 year) to large scale (2+ year) programs
--- Bachelor's degree (minimum) with degree in a technical field preferred
--- High level of leadership and organization skills
--- Ability to multitask supporting several programs that may be at various stages of the product lifecycle
--- Thorough understanding of Project Management techniques and best practices
--- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
--- Understanding of fundamental business concepts like BOP / NPV / ROI / CAPEX / NRE / etc.
--- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
--- Self-motivated with ability to work independently as well as within a cross-functional global support teams including but not limited to manufacturing, supply chain, test & validation, and Global certification agencies
--- Experience with change management and phase gate systems
--- Experience with risk management
--- Ability to be on-site at Carrier/UTEC facility no less than 80% of the working week
Preferred Skills:
--- Experience in HVAC/Refrigeration Systems
--- PMP or Equivalent Certification
