United Helpers, founded in 1898, is seeking an Assistant Housing
Manager who has the skills, compassion and commitment to deliver
high-quality services to people in northern New York.
Responsibilities include assisting in and supervising tenant
certifications and recertifications, investigating and attempting
to resolve tenant problems and complaints, and acting as a liaison
between project governing boards and the United Helpers Management
They will also serve as the point of contact for Rural Development
and Department of Housing and Urban Development, as well as
completing project worksheets for mortage payments and state
Other duties include interviewing candidates, making hiring
recommendations, and preparing/completing job performance
Applicants must have a mininum of an Associated Degree and one-year
of relevant experience.
A valid NYS driver's license is also needed as the position does
require some local travel.
