The Budget Manager is responsible for Auxiliary Services monthly
financial ad hoc reporting and the development of estimated final
projections, long range plan, special projects and scenarios
related to the budget plan. Additionally, the Budget Manager is
responsible for reconciliations and the review of Auxiliary
Services finances including the analysis of revenue and
expenditures and identifies opportunities to improve financial
planning, monitoring, and reporting.
This position is required to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual
reporting deadlines and requirements and serve as a central
divisional contact and perform approvals for the HR/payroll
transactions and other financial functions with the Auxiliary
Services division. The Budget Manager provides training and
guidance to financial support staff in the division, particularly
in the areas of sales tax, payroll, inventory, cost of goods sold,
accounts payable, accounts receivable and internal controls.
