Residence Managers to support a variety of individuals who
experience disabilities. Our ideal candidate would have the ability
to work independently, think quickly, and problem solve. You must
have a positive outlook regarding individuals with developmental
disabilities and seek to improve their overall quality of life.

individual.

Typical duties include:
* Act as a role model demonstrating positive communication and good
social skills and emotional intelligence.
* Ensure Individual Program Plan (IPP) is implemented and
documented.
* Ensure the accomplishment of individual's goals and behavior
plans.
* Oversee the safety and well-being of the individuals.
* Maintain the timely completion of all records and reports, as
directed.
* Supervise the daily shift operations of the residence.
* Problem-solve daily shift issues and/or conflicts as part of the
site leadership team.
* Maintain accurate purchasing records, petty cash and personal
funds.
* Establish and effective contact with all vendors.
* Monitor operation and condition of the residential facility and
supplies, ensuring building security.
* Participate in activities as part of the treatment team that may
include meetings, trainings and committees.
* Develop and maintain an effective communication network with the
individuals, program staff, families, community agencies, and other
Agency departments.
* Establish a work environment that creates positive communication
between supervisors and employees and assimilates new employees to
the Agency's culture, values and mission.
* Ensure compliance with all pertinent government and agency
regulations and operating standards.
Requirements, Qualifications, and Experience:
* Associates degree in Human Services or related field, BS/BA
preferred.
* Minimum of one (1) year of experience.
* Knowledge of basic computer programs (Including Windows Office
Suite)
* Must have a valid NYS Driver's License.
