JOB SUMMARY
This role supports the divisions PPS responsibilities to include investigations, critical incident response, training and physical security projects reporting to the senior manager Corporate Physical Security. Accountable for planning, and implementing the divisions critical incident response program.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Support division investigations as directed by the Senior Manager

Provide security awareness training to key business groups within the division

Travel 50%

Enhancing the development and production of table-top exercises, in support of Critical Incident Response Plans

Responsible for the roll-out of the critical incident response technology for critical incident management. This will include training all members of the Northern Division, as appropriate

Conduct and oversee required risk assessments for the division, and assist in the development of mitigation plans for identified security risks. Specifically, identifying and analyzing trends and concerns throughout the division, across business lines

Responsible for the supervision and training of proprietary guards at the national data center in Coudersport, Pennsylvania, to include development and training

Oversee day to day operations of investigative and physical security personnel within the region

Track activity, incidents and physical security needs

Develop strategic relationships and act as liaison between Charter Communications and project integrators

Manage the contract guard force program and ensure compliance with security standards, policies and procedures

Cultivate the security team by assigning responsibility, managing accountability and providing opportunities for growth

Coordinate finance for capital security project activities with department program

Develop standards and procedures for physical security projects that implement systems for the protection of company personnel, assets and information

Manage the facility security assessment process and ensures compliance with security standards, policies and procedures at all Charter Communication facilities

Ensure that the security programs and strategies of the organization are effectively implemented and maintained

Manage, coordinate, and assure the quality of activities of technical and support staff within the department and with outsourced security services, including final commissioning of all physical security projects

In coordination with the Regional Director, coordinate the finances of all capital security project activities with department program and hold budgetary responsibility for outsourced services


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
Knowledge of Federal, state or local regulations relevant to the company (i.e., PCI, CPNI, SOX, HIPAA, and data privacy affecting theft of cable service preferred
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communications skills, as well as the ability to deal with all levels of people, both inside and outside the company
Comprehensive understanding of the criminal justice, court system and private security regulations
Basic knowledge of data analytics and social media tools for threat mitigation and internal communications
Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Understanding of the complexities of software and networking; how the systems work together
Ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks simultaneously to completion
Ability to use arithmetic skills accurately to complete daily paperwork
Accuracy and attention to detail
Comprehensive understanding of physical security threats and investigations
Strong verbal presentation and written communication skills
Experience managing business resumption/recovery programs


Education
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience

Related Work Experience
10+ years combined experience in conducting investigations in the military, local law enforcement or corporate security environments
2+ years management experience


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Working knowledge of Charter Communications incident management and project tracking systems
PSP (Physical Security Professional - Certification)
CPP (Certified Protection Professional)


WORKING CONDITIONS
Office environment
Up to 30% Travel with the ability to work hours outside of normally scheduled shift with little or no advance notification required
