Clean Harbors seeks a dedicated Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic to join our team, leveraging industry-leading techniques and equipment to maintain and repair our diverse fleet of heavy-duty trucks and equipment. This position plays a vital role in helping us achieve our mission by ensuring operational excellence and adhering to our commitment to safety and environmental stewardship. The ideal candidate will be skilled in diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues, committed to upholding high environmental standards. Perform routine and preventive maintenance on heavy diesel trucks and equipment. Diagnose and repair mechanical and electronic systems. Comply with all environmental, health, and safety protocols. Assist in maintaining inventory and order supplies as needed. Document and maintain detailed service reports. Collaborate with the fleet management team to ensure timely and cost-effective solutions. Strong diagnostic skills Proficiency with diesel engine tools and diagnostic software Ability to work independently and in a team Excellent problem-solving abilities Strong communication skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) ASE Diesel Certification
